Born in Wales, UK and rasied in Buffalo, NY, Mark moved to Los Angeles in and signed to Chris Blackwell's Island Records as bassist for post-punk rockers Stanford Prison Experiment. SPE released 3 albums and toured the world sharing stages with Rage Against the Machine, Primus, The Jesus Lizard and Faith no More. 

Mark first realized the potential of music licensing when Stanford placed a song in New Line Cinemas's American History X starring Ed Norton and has been creating music for film ever since. Synapse clients range from large film and production companies to students and non-profit organizations.
